I just set in the regular transom mount transducer in the bilge and zap stapped it to my bildge pump so it doesn't move around alot. THAT'S ALL. I am still am blown away but it work's on my boat and was ready to by a different sounder even though mine is 500 watts rms and huge output and has all the features I wanted but after 2 years found the cure. I also must point out ping speed max, auto depth, auto sensetivity, max chart speed and fish id and fish depth OFF!!!

p.s. Before you silicone or epoxy your transom mount transducer make sure it works this way. Many boats have a foam or wood core between your bilge and outside hull. Mine is a cal glass 17 with a 1' X 2' collecting bilge.
