Do people actually eat Salmon Shark? Or do people keep them for a trophy mount?

Mental note..........when fishing out off Tofino this weekend ensure I release anything that's head looks like a "Hammer". Can't touch those.

Shortfin mako, Common thresher, Bigeye thresher, Smooth hammerhead,

Do these sharks even exist in B.C. coastal waters? I never heard of them there before, so I'm quite surprised to see them on that list. It's always been a dream of mine to fish for mako's though!

This is a major concession we had to make at the last SFAB meeting. I think the DFO should be giving something back to us for this....like two hali per day!

Depends on the current-they might show up here and have in the past.

Seen lots of blue sharks when i was a deckhand on troller of the west coast of Q.C. islands. Heard they were common off tofino some years. They get the odd white shark in alaska.
