Crab & Prawn Fishing, Vancouver Island

[Newbie]

I am a Newbie to this fun activity; bought a couple of Sea King Casting crab traps & crab caliper, and raring to go! Will be spending a couple of weeks on Vancouver
Island. Can you nice folks suggest some nice spots to cast my traps (from shoreline, no boat) around Tofino/Ucluelet, Victoria, and Nanaimo areas? Thanks in advance!
