could use some help

i'm hoping someone has fished around the Hope area. I live in the 100 Mile area and am having exceptional success with the rainbow here.Any suggestions on the lake or stream fishing in May around the Hope area would be appreciated. It doesn't matter about the type of fishing or the species either.

Thanks alot. I've got 2 days 1 night and I'm trying to stretch it into 3 to 4 days and 2 nights. I'd like to explore some of the lakes off the backroads but sadly I own an 86 Taurus.
I've recently bought the new issue of the B.C. Fishing Freshwater Directory & Atlas and they say Jones Lake (called Wahleach Lake in the book) is 32 km. off the Hwy. with the first 9 km. being rough. My car has gone in some rough places before. As long as I can get to it I'll give it a shot.

You should be good to get up there. Just watch out for the pot holes, theres some real dandys on the way up. You should be able to make it fine. I saw a guy up there once in an old '80's civic.
