Looking to see how people have been doing in this area Point Holms down to Denman area. I was around Point Holms last week and had no luck, but their was lots of activity as their were 10 boats out their on the flat calm day.

Hey, P52 there is the odd fish getting taken out side of the closed area. Some poeple are fishing off of Point Holmes. There are fish stacking up between the islands. Not sure if the Kitty thread will help you at all. But this thread you started will likely fire up come the end of Aug. with some great info.

Anyone fish this area over the long weekend? What about action around Norris Rocks, heard some guy caught spring around Tribune Bay. Saw lots of trailers in morning around at Union Bay, did not see any boats around Point Holms at 10 am as it was abit lumpy.

Fished around Norris Rocks yesterday, few boats out their from Norris to Flora. Friend from Calgary got decent sized 11lb Chinook, he was happy. But had to put the time in to catch the fish, but it was good as it was flat calm around their. Saw a few others dip the net into the water also mid day.
