I agree that we need to get fish farms out of our oceans. What if this new genetically altered Salmon which grows to market size twice as fast, possibly increasing fish farmers profits, made it economically viable for the fish to be raised on land? There would still be all the other concerns about food supply for this new fish etc, but perhaps the argument put forward by fish farmers that it is to costly to raise fish on land would not stand up?

I honestly can't understand why someone would want to eat that thing.
