Thought this would be a good place to accumulate all the return numbers from the coast so guys can get an idea of some Positive highlights from the year and what systems need work.
Yup, Ocean-Type Chinook stay in near coastal waters which are colder and the Stream-Type Chinook, Chum, Steelhead, Sockeye all travel out onto the high seas and straight into the Blob....Climate change ain't real tho.Sooke River: Chinook ok, Coho meager, Chum surprisingly good.
Goldstream: Chinook bad, Coho bad, Chum ok
go figure
Only rumours from Nitinat: Chinook good, Coho bad, Chum bad and apparently so far Steelhead looking grim
The hatchery got what they needed. So did everyone else.Any information at all how the Robertson Creek Hatchery returns were ?

Thompson River Coho were considered a stock of concern in 1998.
Here we are in 2020, and NOTHING HAS CHANGED!
What do you think will change this in the future?
And let’s not forget about the DEMISE of THOMPSON STEELHEAD by them as well.
Exactly right SV. Some areas will have to be MSF but as the inside returns show many will not.
There is almost no where on the BC where fraser stocks or other endangered stocks have not been caught. It's silly to think that besides terminal area and times that a non MSF will take place. the old ways are done, adapt or quit
