Check out what I got for my wife

So, I liked my Gaff & Thumper from "Westcoast Thumpers" so much I had him help me out with something for my wife. She wanted a solid rolling pin made out of Hard wood. While looking at the store for some I got thinking about how the wood work on my gaff is way nicer. Then I thought, maybe he could make me one? I contacted him and had him make me a hand made custom ring pin. All made by hand from local wood (4 different in total). I absolutely love it and know my wife will to. This is the only time I have liked buying kitchen stuff for my wife!

Can't beat local hand made craftmanship. Its even better when it's cheaper then the imported mass produced.

What do you guys/gals think?

It's very nice, but it will roll all over the boat once you drop the Thumper overboard and borrow it.
Also, I don't know why, but women seem to love the double tapered "French" rolling pins. 20". Seems excessive.

Rolling pin?! Oh snap... I thought it was for the bedroom.
Honestly though,it’s beautiful! Is it heartwood with hickory? I’m a wood guy.
