Cheanuh Marina storm surge

There is a fair bit of storm damage at the marina from the last storm..Cleats ripped out and some damage to boats. If you haven't checked your boat, you should go down and have a look. Lots of people are pulling their boats out before the next storm, including me.

[Fins -n- Skins]

Pulled mine this morning as well, not from cheanuh but Sooke harbour and it was blowing big time in the Basin.. Saw couple of guys checking there ropes and boat.. Good Idea !!

 

[Rockfish]

Pulled mine last Wed. out of a Sooke marina and I was not the only one. There was a steady stream of guys pulling their boats that day to avoid storm damage. By the time we left the marina was almost empty.

 

[Cut Plug]

Pulled mine from Cheanuh on Tuesday. Super glad I did! The wind forecast is just too strong, I don't care what marina you're in. The combination of a mid to high tide and big wind is a bad combination for any marina.
