If you have time this fall or winter get out and upgrade your boating skills. You will gain knowledge and feel more comfortable on the water.
I have done 5 or 6 of these and they are all well done and very relevant to enjoy safe boating.

As well everyone should have their VHF radio, Restricted Operator Certificate.
To operate a maritime radio, you need the certificate. It's the law!
