Nanoose Bay fly tier Bob Hetzler has kindly donated a number of polar bear bucktails that he has tied and we are auctioning them off in support of the Nile Creek Enhancement Society.

These bucktails are tied with hand selected long natural polar bear that Bob custom dyes and they're tied on Mustad stainless steel hooks. They are all between 4.5 and 5.5 inches in length.

The Nile Creek Enhancement Society is operated by the tireless efforts of local volunteers. Their mission is to enhance and protect the fresh and marine waters that support salmonids and the habitats in which they live along the east coast of Vancouver Island. Visit them at www.nilecreek.org

The bidding starts at $10.00 and the auction will close at 4 p.m, Saturday, March 4th, 2017.

Please help support the Nile Creek Enhancement Society by placing your bid in a reply below.

The winning bidder will be notified after the auction closes.
No bids will be accepted after the closing time and date.
You must pick up your winnings from our store unless shipping can be arranged prior to the auction close.
Payment by checque is to be made to the Nile Creek Enhancement Society and may be dropped off or mailed to Coast Sport Fish, #202-901 Island Highway West, Parksville, BC. V9P 2E9 Phone: 250-586-6622. E-mail: keith@coastsportfish.com

Are you asking to see open bids here?
Just checking to see if bidding is to be open and public or silent.
Thanks

As a guy that has tied many hundreds of bucktails those attached look to be tied out of bucktail. Nice flies though and for a good cause. All of those patterns will catch fish.

Hi and thanks for your interest. Bidding is open and public with all proceeds going to Nile Creek Enhancement Society. We also have a board in the store where we ask fly tyers to donate a couple flies and take one off the board and when we get a good assortment we'll auction those off through the FlyBC forum for Nile Creek Enhancement Society. We'll also take any flies donated by mail to us by tyers for that initiative. A lot of fishers have benefited from the work carried out by Nile Creek Enhancement over the years and we hope to see that continue.

Good work Keith.

I would have thought that you would be seeing more support (bids) for this worthy cause. Many people like to fish for the Nile Creek salmon. Come on guys.
