Brake line questions

Just got a new set of disk brakes, aactuator, and rubber lines. The runder lines are too long which would require me to make a few small loops and then tie to frame.... I am concerned about the loops catching and snagging on something one day. So my options are to figure out a way to shorten the rubber lines which would require then to be cut and then new fittings put on which needs a sodcialed compression tool....

or I can buy some sort of metal or copper/nickel alloy hard line and make runs to each axle and then use a 24" section of flexible rubber line going to each brake caliper. If this is the best option would copper/nickel be OK in a trailer that is dunked in salt or brackish water?

I have had to loop the lines before, mount them behind the axle or along the trailer frame. Use clamps like these to secure to frame etc. Don't use aluminium clamps, only last a year or so if immersed in chuck
