I know a guy that had one with the Suzuki 140 and it was underpowered a bit. Although they are slow moving hulls. Maybe a 150 Etec would have been good. Light weight and lots of pep.

Do those aluminum pieces at the transom look like splash guards to keep the backwash from coming in or is that a structurally suspect transom? Not the pen board, talking about the corner gussets.

the transom well isnt very deep.. not splash guards, but more like flood guards.

They would have spent 22.5k or more on the new engine including install but it's a used engine now....
