The perfect name for when someone calls and is looking for you, you can just say you’re at the office. There was a lawyer who once named his boat billable hours, and if someone was looking for him, his secretary would say he’s working on billable hours.

I owned one of those, bit of an eggshell ride. Watch for rot, mine was rotted out, not even worth fixing. Back then was a learning curve, it was my first bigger boat

Great point, I owned a Campion that was soft too. Any boat suggestion includes unwritten due diligence though.

Looked at that exact boat in 2014. Ended up being a memorable viewing. Was sitting in the marina in CR.

He offered to take me a for a spin right off the hop to show me it all worked so I obliged. He backed out of the slip, stalled the engine and drifted into a kingfisher's twin 150 cowlings as we couldn't get it started again, cracking one top cowl, mid section, and gouging up both boats. We were pushed around at the mercy of the wind bouncing off all sorts of stuff as I tried to get the kicker fired up at the back (wasn't going to happen). Managed to attach it to an empty slip. End of trip. Glad we didn't make it to far on the test run!

When the fellow was off trying to track down the harbour master to get the owner info on the kf I Had a minute to poke around and confirm it was a pos. Big soft spots in the stringers. Engine had about 400hour at that time. I remember the guy had it advertised as having a "new engine". Turned out it was new 8 years earlier when looking at the block....... leg was actually brand new then. Kicker cables were all frozen and the kicker looked like it had been for a dip.

Thing looked decent from far being sold for the price of the newly installed leg, but was far drop decent.

Looks like it sold already. Hope it's had some work since...

I've got a hull based on the same design. Its pretty hard to take water over the bow in one of those. Mine will handle crazier water then I ever want to be out in.
