Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Here is a potential package for someone handy. 2001 Bayliner 2859. $25,000

This boat has been sitting under cover for over 10 years. The motor was running when it was parked but we don't know its current condition. It is being sold with a triple axle trailer, not the double axle shown in the pictures. As is where is. The boat is located in CLEARWATER, BC

Actually looks like a pretty good price. 25k with taxes for the engines installed? and at least 5k for the tuff trailer. Yes as a shopper we want to depreciation but so many run out engines and trailers, it makes this one look like a steal.
Ya good point. Seen alot of early 90’s trophys with beat up I/O’s for around 26k+ recently. I was half asleep when i posted that.

might go take a look at this one, but i bet it will be sold by the time i get off work today lol

Double eagle for under $4k pretty vague description though.
ya dont get much for 4K these days...

Interesting they had to be rebuilt already and the notes about needing 91 octane.

Yeah, in the fall I saw another ad on Alaska CL for trip Zuk 350s...two running one dead. The seller was repowering with Zuk 300s (just like the ad I recently posted)

I totally understand that issues get over-reported on internet forums (happy people go boating, angry people with broken machines post online)...but...there are numerous stories of problems with the Zuk 350s on THT and other forums from down south.

South of the border... a 2002 Armstrong heavy-gauge welded enclosed cabin with new Yamaha 4.2L 200hp SHO for $49,000USD

Worthwhile hull to maybe improve or use as is, put a cabin on this bad boy. 25 foot Northwest Aluminum 95k. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1051975165328201/
About once a year I see a boat I like and jokingly ask my wife if I can cash in a good chunk of the TFSA. She didn't say no this time.
What are the chances it will be available post Covid travel restrictions?
Can my 5.0 F150 pull it over the Coq and stop it on the way down?
Will someone buy my $6000 whaler for 15k?
How much for a concrete pad beside my driveway?
How long does it take a retired dodgeball teacher to learn how to weld aluminum?
Should I move to the coast so I can use it more than driving over mountains in winter allows?

@Robert Snyder No kidding, can maybe buy a trailer for $4k lol got lucky buying my hourston just before all this covid tax kicked in would have probably cost me double or triple what I paid, add already says pending on the double eagle!

10% chance a 100% salmon fishing boat will still be available despite fishing restrictions. Yes your 5.0 can pull that for sure, maybe add EOH brakes if they are not already on it. Yes my buddy just paid 32k for a 98 whaler. Concrete who needs it, less money for boating, maybe get a few old bricks and build a pad for the tires. As long as you have a steady hand you can learn to weld, I know an investment advisor who welded a pod on his boat, not as good as a real welder but not bad. Yes.

Make sure you loudly remind her that tfsa profits are free, no taxes baby, and you can put back what you took out when you make 400% in GM by selling that boat you're gonna buy!

It's kind of crazy the way a half-decent 17 foot skiff with moderately new outboard power is going for twice what that Zeta is worth. That's a serious boat.
This is quite the set up, especially with stringers and transom re-done at Zeta. Snyder, this might work, less the flying bridge which I know you are handy at removing.
