Heard a story about commie crabbers who were loading up in a short period of time being warned not to bring back soft shell crabs from this general area last year.
Rumor has it that some scottish vessels from Rupert couldn't resist and that was the end of it.
The guys that followed the rules may just be the ones with the signs.

I understand even though there were closures put in place not only in the Charlottes the commercial guys ignored it and continued to fish. Unlike sports fishermen it seems to me they are willing to fight back against stupid decisions given to them.
