anyone recommend a good autopilot? Seems all the options at hand are geared toward single outboard power. I have a 34’ with rudder steering. Thanks in advance

Welcome back. A lot of trollers and bigger boats had these:
They run off a magnetic compass. There must be GPS versions nowadays. Check with sailing forums.

Com Nav is locally made (Vancouver) and are the commercial fleets standard use units. I have their smallest unit on my 22 Seasport and have had it for over 25 years..still works as new.

I would look at the simrad ones, especially if you already run lowrance or simrad screens.
