My go-to is Effingham Bay on Effingham Island in the Broken Group. Close to the action at Swale, Meares, Cree, Turtle Head...

Ya , agree , i anchored there last year as well as turtle island area , unreal sunsets , great palce ta sit on the deck and finish your day off with your favorite bevy , But , that is a bit of a haul from Bamfield or Poett , last July west Flemming went off for a couple of weeks , Robbers passage is right there !!

Here's a nice spot I found last July: really nice beach and cove off Dicebox---just a hop and a skip away from Meares---totally protected when it blows and really quiet:
