Just wanted to try and post up a couple of pics of my rebuild. New transom, gas tank and floor.Trying out the tapatalk app off my iPhone.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361214203.720830.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361214218.320826.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361214248.837189.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361214263.770850.jpg

We used clear Gel Coat on the transom and stringers. Instead of using the typical grey gel coat this will allow for easy monitoring if any potential problems.

Nice job thanks for the update. Looks like a reliable fishing machine on the way!

My dad donated me some manifolds he got from his uncle who new someone who worked at a foundry in the states in the 70's. Didn't think much of it until I realized their Bronze. One less thing to never worry about.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1366998710.921113.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1366998722.036696.jpg

Wow! That is an awesome score....I worked with a guy who made ss ones. Heck of alot of work....never have to replace those babies

looks great, keep it coming! Im doing the same thing right now on a 185 double eagle. Nice job

Just a lot of time and effort plus the cost of the paint. Still had the cross hatch visible in the cylinder bores and excellent compression so engine was just cleaned and painted. Added new oil pump etc. Wiring is now on the list.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367601587.734323.jpg

Updating my project. Exhaust manis are on, floor is glued in, fixed outboard motor mount installed. See you guys out there soon.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369416463.339418.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1369416474.888552.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1369416505.254649.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1369416544.788945.jpg
