Just booked China creek camp ground for the 7,8,9. Pretty good chance the sockeye will be near China creek still?
Thanks for any info appreciate it. Haven't been out there in years

Any word on how the bite is further out the inlet towards Nahmint/Hook Bay area?

Any netting scheduled for before the long weekend?

Yep seiners are out in 23-1 and 23-2 till 2200 tomorrow (28th) and gillnetters are operating in 23-3 to 23-6 today 0600-2000. Sign up to recieve email notifications about this stuff here. It's a good way to stay in the loop.

Bite is still hot so don't let the commercial openings deter you. I tubbed out by 6:30 this morning at Cous. 2 dummys then flasher and pink michael bait with white stripe up top. Nice size fish this year.

Here is the notice

Thanks for the info, is there still that commercial fishing free zone around China Creek area?
Yeah but they fish right up to lone tree. Seen some boats staging by cous too but not sure if they fish it because I'm usually put of there early. Can update later. Trying to convince wife to get her lim with me this eve if not too windy.

Slow morning out there for me at least. Got 2 in the boat and had one nibble around 6:00 that never stuck. Fished cous and stamp narrow. My buddy had 6 in the boat when I was pulling out though. Maybe I'm losing my touch. At least it was glass out there...

Bite is still decent out there even with the recent commercial openings. Get out there and save some fro. The river nets.... Earlier the better, but fish are building and should be good throughout the entire morning soon enough.
