Blackhawks 2013

Good call on the lines, eman. What a game. Crawford's glove side got exposed but then Rask coughed up six. One of the Bruins goals was funny (since Hawks won) as the puck bounced off the glass, off the top of the net and landed in the crease for some eager Bruin who accepted this gift from the hockey gods.

What's up with the face-offs ? They got erased Monday night but won their fair share last night. Different linesmen or ?
 
HNIC, folks. Hawks are home and need this game. Calling it 3-2 for the boys in the First Nation's head sweaters.
 
This could well be the last game in the Madhouse this season. Look for the Hawks to take it hard to the Bruins all game as they have no fear of this team. I hope CC gets a bigger catching glove though.:rolleyes: Hawks 4 Bears 2.;) eman
 
Hawks dominated in the face-off circle and played a super defensive game. Fifteen down and one to go.

The league really needs to address the discrepancy between regular season and play-off officiating. It is a discredit to the game.

I agree.... the officiating has a life of its own in the playoffs.... It's a different game almost lol.

I love seeing Chara get frustrated, lucic break his stick etc.... Finish them off please.... Unfortunately the Canucks couldn't get the job done being up 3-2 against this team :(
 
That was a blatant attempt to injure as far as I'm concerned. Boychuk should have got thrown and suspended for the rest of the final. Find a good replay and watch the setup before the hit. Disgusting:mad: ;) eman
 
I've been cheering on the hawks all series long and I am looking forward to them finishing off the bruins. For entertainment sake, I hope it goes to 7 though. :eek:
 
Please don't take this the wrong way Dave S but screw entertainment I want the Hawks to put them away tonight. It has been a great series but enough is enough. I am tired and all I do is drink beer and yell at the TV.

Hawks 3-1. :D
 
It's sure tempting to go along with Dave S, as I'd love to see the Hawks win the Cup at the Madhouse on Madison. But I think you have to be careful what you wish for. After waiting for so long for the last one, I've got no problem with the Hawks hoisting old Stanley tonight. Toew's is 100% and ready to go so come on Hawks let's wrap it up and take it home.Hawks 4 Bruins 2.;) eman

Congrats to Chicago. While I am not a great fan of their low-life defense, and the arrogant little cabbie beater, I am a huge fan of Toews and Shaw. They dominated all regular season and they had enough in the tank to win against some pretty worthy opponents in Detroit and Boston. Anrd the little rat ******* Marchand can go cry in his pablum.

Toughest part of the whole finals was knowing that both of these teams and many others are light years ahead of the Canucks.

Anyways, again my congrats to Chicago and to their fans.
 
Well, I got what I wanted. Hawks put the Bruins down tonight and did it with style with two goals in 17 seconds. Loved that Chara and Lucic were both on for the winner.

Hockey was well served as the pounding of the Bruins didn't cut it against the speed and skills of the Hawks. The better team won. Rask was touted as unbeatable as was Quick before him but Crawford beat them both. Conn Smythe should have gone to Crawford, but I'm nit-picking.

Congrats e-man and holmes*. It's been fun.
