Fished the bell today 11am to 3pm in 150 to 200' of water. Started marking bait right away and it was steady action. No keepers but caught about ten under on hoochies near bottom, nothing on spoons today. Conditions were great, nearly flat calm and a big pod of porpoise swam right past the boat.

Nice one, me and Luke are headed out tomorrow. Bowen if conditions are good.

Dropped the lines around 930 at Grace. Flurry of activity at 205 225. Hootchie and spoons on black flashers. I let 4 go at about mid water column. Managed to keep one on. Completely died off around noon. Beautiful day out. View attachment 100779

Pretty much same report as Rain City. Grace, 205 rigger black flash white hoochie. And lost a couple decent ones. Pretty slow between a couple flurries of bites. My huge buddy makes a 65cm look like an undersize lol.

Interesting, I’m often on that deeper line but stayed a bit shallower today and had no bites, hence the move. It was barefoot skiing conditions there today.

Fished morning tide at tunstall and only got a few unders and an argument with a guide so moved to waterfall. 190’ fow and 221 on the rigger with green speckled hootchie got these nice red keepers. Went back to pull my traps to find someone beat me to it. Buggers!!!

What actually happens, is I put my kid to bed at 7:30. But I end up falling asleep with her. Then I'm up from 2-6 and I eventually fall asleep on the couch watching bbq shows. Then my wife smacks me in the head at 8 and tells me to get the hell up and be productive. It's really not as cool as a night at the Roxy. That place still exists???
