My buddies 28 Conquest upgraded to the extra 150hp and it sure made a difference. With the power to weight ratio of 305 I would definitely want 600hp if I was tuna fishing and had a fafillion.
A quarter million USD to have a toilet in the bedroom? Should be enough room for a standup head and under the v-birth space for a halibut tote or a cooler.

He says 15!? 8 6v and 4 12v all house and 3 starter batteries. For running hot water off the inverter and other things I guess. Time for a lithium upgrade with solar

I have a Conquest 305 with twin 300's and 9 Batts.The problem is multiple banks on different types of batteries. I run 3 Chargers, ACR's and solar. with 2 AGM starts on each outboard system as recommended by merc then one for the Bowthruster and 4 6v AGM golfcarts for the Inverter Charger Solar house bank. I would be hesitant to run the ACR system if I changed the house to Lithium and also have to upgrade the inverter charger to the tune of 3k plus batteries and labour..not so simple. So I run all AGM. It would be nice to shed weight...maybe 300lbs if you changed out the house for lithium..but just have to leave someone on the dock instead....sorry

This was my friends boat that he bought new. It is a 1980 boat and is the 20 ft model. One tough boat. Caught lots of fish.That is quite the deadrise.
