Your best "go to" hoochie

The fishing season is now in full swing, and like everyone else I'm finishing off getting gear ready to roll. Lots of negative news stuff going on in the world, so I thought for fun it would be a great distraction to get folks to post their best "go to" hoochie. Would be neat to get a cross section of hoochie ideas, times and places where your "go to" hoochie is a killer.

The J-79 is mine - works great offshore especially when we have green water. I prefer the cuttlefish version - fishes way better than the Octo version. Lets have some fun sharing.

At Port Renfrew T Rex hoochie has been really good at daybreak. As soon as the sun comes up, it quits working

You actually cannot buy my personal favorite.
It is well doctored (by me) from what it looks like out of the package.
Kept us in the top 5 % of Area G when we were allowed to use them.
Good herring representation.
Sorry, no pix, but if you see the Storm Spirit at rest, wander by & I will show you...

Cheers,
Nog

What we call “ Casper “ glow hoochie inside white w red and black eye, pull off about 25% of the tentacles ….. Bright lead hook, red trailer….sometimes i add a very fine hair crystal flash skirt….

anyone have luck using a hootchie with a jughead for action and fishing with a dummy (off the cannonball) flasher? Like others the geen glow splatter back with a green or gold super betty flasher has been effective for me but i love the clean fight you get without an inline flasher. I'd love to find a combo that works as well but without the drag of a flasher. I've considered rigging break away flashers and have limited (unsuccessful) time fishing jug heads but would love some advice. Cheers!

Green typically. Or if I'm trying to simulate a sandlance, i use gel and twist the tails together. That's pretty low down on my list of desperation tactics.

We run these or the green glow Brando displayed behind a hammered dodger. Some years in Rupert it’s been a killer combo some years nothing.
