looking to buy a kicker for my 16 runabout, 8-9.9 hp fourstroke with charging system . looking for good used or a deal on new , must be a longshaft.

if you find a sixhp it is the same block as the 8hp, re-jet and re-prop.. i did this for my kicker and saved some bucks. or get a 9.9 and make it a 15 by doing the same.

honestly a 6hp would be fine but I am going a little bigger in hopes that one day I can upgrade boats n get something a wee bit bigger, looks like I might have found what im looking for , the 6 amp charge system and electric/manual start is going to be some of the key options, im also looking at the lightest 9.9 on the market, Have had contact with a few outboard dealers and they are all very concerned that "Fugly" gets the sweet kicker it deserves.. stay tuned..
