As for not attending, yes I was not there. I personally am doing what I can to help the salmon here in the CV. I don’t just fish for them; I help bring new generations back to the ocean through my volunteering at our local community hatchery. So you see some of us do care. We just show it in other ways.

Chris 73 I admire your passion but am appalled by your relegation of some of us to non supporting roles , I joined in and made my presence known in Duncan , my wife is in Victoria General Hospital awaiting very extensive neck surgery so I am sorry I couldn't be there also to march TWICE for the salmon.
I will not dignify your post any further.

Maybe if you want to do something to save wild salmon Cris,release them. Killing any wild fish has a direct impact on the stocks, point being from fish farms to logging practices, mining, commercial and yes SPORT ,has an impact, that can be tough on wild salmon!
