WiFi For The Boat

Do you think a cell phone booster would get me a signal from Hot Springs to Yuquot? I’m guessing that’s 10 miles or so from the weaker signal grey 4G HSPA zone. You can see Telus has some coverage north of Hot Springs. Sorry for hi jack. Just an interesting topic.

Oh ya. Thats a good post and a site that I have used when planning trips. The map shows coverage with just a cell phone.
When tuna fishing(out of tofino) i used to only get service out to 12 miles on my booster. What ever changed about 3 years ago I now can text out to 45 miles with my booster but its spotty and slow at the far reaches. I wish more boats had this for it would nice to reduce chatter on the radio.
