Where to launch ( lower fraser river ) ?

Heading to the gulf islands for a week. Wondering where the safest launch is to leave from and leave truck/ trailer parked for a week? Im leaning towards steveston port authority at this point but not sure how they charge for 5-6 days.

Could consider crescent beach marina as well
Need half a tide or more to come in or out though

steveston is good since they have locking gates, prepay. nice launch there. Macdonalds beach is "locked" overnight also but launch/retrieve at mid to high tide only. Alternatively, captains cove in ladner is good and free.

All depends which gulf islands u goin to....South id pick crescent, North captains cove.
