where are they headed

Just wondering where these fish are going ,Frasier or columbia rivers.The buoy 10 fisheries is opening.Not to be too dishonest but dont't report to many tagged fish, or the states try to put the heat on Canada to allow more fish back to the states.We just net the hell out of them anyway.[}]

I would think that most (if not all) of those fish are Canadian.

I get a lot of winter springs around cowichan. Many are tagged. I used to always send the heads in. They were all american. Then one year they closed them. DOH! I don't send heads in anymore.

Never thought of that.... however, all of the salmon heads I've turned in have originated from BC hatcheries (at least the ones they bothered to let me know about).

I RARELY catch hatchery fish though.... probably due to where I fish (the Sunshine Coast). Although, one would think I'd get some fish headed to the Cap.
