When to Use Different Anchovy Rolls?

Recently there was a post about correct bait action, and there were several good points made. If I recall, Charlie suggested different rolls for different situations including a faster roll for fast current and a slower roll for slow current.

My question, do others alter their rolls based on current speed, and if so how (fast vs. slow or other)? What other rolls are used, and when to use them?
