West kelowna fire. I got room for your stuff

Maybe 2 mm rain in Penticton, but we'll take it. Now if we can just get through to end of September without any more lightning...

apparently he refused to meet with the local MLA's and MPs, said they were welcome to be in the background for the photos but refused meeting them.

Pollies can't win either way on disasters. They show up, they're accused of tokenism and shameless photo opping. They don't show up, or show up later, everyone points the finger and yells, "You don't care about the people!" Biden copped the latter sort of flak for waiting for things in Lahaina to settle down and not be in the way of urgent response.

I haven't heard that one yet. He sure can be a doofus.
