I'm going to Victoria on the 5th for a few days of relaxing sight seeing and a little pub hopping lol. So the question is what are the favorite watering holes in the area of the locals? Also if there is a must see on the south end of the Island I'd like to hear your suggestions.

Yes we are staying right downtown just off of Belleville ST.

Irish times pub ,
garrick head pub,
Bard & banker
are all walking distance

pescador gave you a good spot, I second that. Bart's at Douglas and humboldt is another. There's a whole pile along government street. The Churchill, Garrick's Head and Irish times all sit pretty much on top of each other. Every thing is pretty easy walking from where you're at.
