I know theres good fishing off the water front around this time of year. Has anyone been catching anything??

A good source tells me there were a few springs taken
off the waterfront on the weekend.
i will try it on the weekend (weather providing)

maily from clover point to the breakwater to albert head, in that general area( victoria BC)

not recently, do not go too deep, the currents are too strong and large boats have a better chance of running over the line. i recomend 225ft closer to the shore the better. you dont even have to prawn directly off albert just find a area where the currents are low and the water is 200'+.
just put 2 bait cups with lots of holes drilled in it and prawn bait in them. then come back the next day at SLACK TIDE!!!(you will not find your trap unless your looking for it at slack tide). the last time went prawning there i got about 30 big fat ones.
