Wanted - VHF with DSC

Looking to buy a used VHF unit with the built in GPS.

Someone may correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the VHF radio with DSC connect to an external GPS/Plotter? I didn't think that the VHF came with a built-in GPS.

I think most are separate, but some have built in gps.
