Volvo 270 leg info

[Scoopy]

Does anyone have any info/experience with these legs? It is a 74 on a 350 chev, pushing a 24' hourston. Any info is much appreciated.

What do you need to know Scoopy? I've got a 280 leg on a 351w 23ft Hourston. I have the Volvo Manual down at the boat and have done quite a bit of work on these legs over the years, might be able to give you a hand or at least look it up in the manual for you. I would also PM islandfishlifter he's a Volvo mechanic and has been very helpful to me in getting expert help.

ive got 1 in good shape. brand new bellow brand new ujoint assembly spare prop. pm me if you need it. it was hooked to an aq130c.

Pretty much same as 280 exhaust is differant
That's about it.

Had one on a Trophy back in 90's.
Mechanic said same as 280, but 270 was sold in bulk to boat manufacturers such as Bayliner.
