Universal Downrigger Gimbal Mounts?

HI,

I currently have a Penn Electric downrigger, but they will no longer be making parts for them

I am looking for a UNIVERSAL mount Gimbal 30 degree angle downrigger bracket to drop in my flush mount pole holders.

Any recommendations?
I have seen the Traxstech Gimbal Mount which allows me to use for my Penn now, and another brand later. Any recommendations appreciated.

you can getthem off ebay, i found hem onthere for my manual penns,
you can also order them not drilled and drill and attach themounts youself

Scotty model 1028 or 1029 would provide the platform.

You would have to attach your Penn base to it.
It should be available from any good tackle shop, although they have to order it in.

I have a pair of the Scotty mounts if you want to buy them. $75 for the pair. They are basically brand new -- used about 3-4 times but I mounted my riggers permanently to the boat.
