I think this deserves it own thread. I'll start off, trailer my boat to Ukee last Sunday, scope out the weather prior to this day and it was looking good so went for it. Fishing was great. Fished South Bank, landed quite a few springs (8-17lbs) and a few nice halis (15-30lbs) trolling on the bottom or within 20ft. Use small spoons, hootchies and needlefish, all were working but the needlefish hootchie definitely caught the majority of the springs and the bigger ones. Silver glow spoon hit the bigger halis. I couldn't ask for a better start to the offshore season than this..............hopefully I don't jinx myself too much with that comment.
