Ucluelet Squid Fishing?

I have read some fishing reports from local guides saying the Springer’s that are being caught are full of squid. Has anyone been fishing for squid lately around Ucluelet? If so what areas are holding them?

You should be able to untie from IW and go out in the harbour at dark, turn on some flood lights and see what comes to the light. Watch out for the crab pots. I'll be there July 2-6. Anchoring may make sense. When I worked on a commercial boat and we tied to the fish plant in Ukee, our lights would attract them in the summer time.
