U S Chinook Closures????

Hearing that California to Washington there are concerns of poor returns and sport closures???

Has anyone else heard this???

My understanding is they can ONLY take clipped hatchery Springs (kings) in Juan de Fuca

Thought earlier on there was a bumper crop of Chinook "returners" to the U.S. rivers....deemed to be "early".......

Actually, the major problem is the California runs, being Sacramento River, which is essentially collapsed. the US postings are suggesting the problem on some Oregon rivers as well. As such, there is a real problem down south.
