Transom Savers for Podded Boats...

I have a 17.5' Double Eagle with a 115 Yamaha 2-stroke hanging off a pod. I've seen all sorts of "transom savers" on the 'net, but I'm really not sure that any of them were ever designed for use on a podded boat. Any suggestions for methods/devices for safely securing and stopping the 115 from bouncing around while trailering down bumpy gravel roads (like towards Bamfield):)?

Don't tow your boat down that road if you can help it,It should be known as the trailer graveyard.I know people do it but not me,it's a nice boat ride down the inlet.

Nothing worse than a boat full of dust when you arrive too!!

I use a Yamaha transom saver like this.
It's made out of rubber and seems to work for me.
It slips on the ram and then you lower your motor

Took my Double Eagle down that road once never again. A friend said can't be that bad, so we trailered his boat in and he went out by water. If you go by water best early morning as wind comes up around noon.
