so thinking of pickin up a 06 duramax. wondering where would be a good place to take it for a pre purchase inspection . Where they could check injector flow rates ect ect ect
Take it to your local GM dealer and ask who "the diesel guy" is(every dealer has one) and let him plug it in and check it out.......also they will look at other things such as the Allison tranny and front end stuff which can get pricey........BRS
2006 is a good year, not many issues and no DPF, just catalytic converter. Wheel bearings could be an issue. I have the 1 ton dually get 19 mpg empty cruising at 110 kmh. I have 207,000 km only changed front wheel bearings on warranty and had 2 glow plugs gone but replaced them all.
lol He was just letting me know the gm dealer in Nanaimo is open late. also thanks Canso but there in Van. I wish they were here.
