That's actually what I was attempting to do. Just wanted the images to actually show on the post. Still learning the ropes of how things on the site work. So ho DID you get the image to load on the post that way? I've tried a couple of things but keep ending up with just the links loading?

If you go into one of your links. Right click on the image and "copy image URL" Then when you are replying there is a small icon with a tree on it. If you put the mouse on it it will say "insert image" click that then paste the image URL into that box that comes up... hit ok and Bobs yer uncle

I got the first part but missed the tree icon. That's probably why it only loaded the links. Where about does the icon show up and is it in the Post Quick Reply window or does it only show if you use the Reply to Thread window?

It's above the quick reply box as well. There is a earth (for adding links), The tree is beside it in the box for images, then there is the film looking one for embedding video. (all to the right of the font color)

If you google images and copy the url from the search screen they usually dont work. You have to click on the image and get to the page it is on and copy the image url right from the website page it is on
