Stamp river- Directions

Went to the river today mostly looked around but i saw a guy wtih a nice fish down near the paper mill dam. Im guessng around 12lbs.
Quite a few people out there.

I was on the parkside. The guy that caught one was fishing the other side just above the rapids where the current is strong.

hey........i caught a 6lb hatchery doe on the indianside.....and no im not indian lol not saying that its a bad thing, might be hitting up the damn on the indianside tomorrow afternoon on the hightide, mostlikely,I saw 1 guy catch one on the parkside...must have been wild though because he released it.

I thinki fished the paper mill danm. Its not really a dam is it? Isnt it just a narrow part of the river where the water goes down that slope really fast? I was at a park that had a house thing on it and washrooms/picnic tables.

yeah you were fishing papermill damn, it used to be a papermill, but then got shutdown, dont know howlong ago....in the summertime you can see the pilings at the top of the rapids, how did you make out?, i was fishing on the other side yesterday and got 1, and some guy got a 20lb hatchery 2 days ago there, that would be nice to catch!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

i was there 2 days ago. I saw a guy on the indian side with a huge fish! but i never got a good look at it. Maybe that was the 20 pounder man that would be a nice fish. I didnt fish much i mostly looked around i had a few troubles with my reel but now i got it figured out.

yeah kelly know how your feeling, cant drive myself yet, and if i could wouldent be sittin here right now, going this afternoon though for the hightide, hopefully get another hatch for the smoker.
