Why is it in murky, moderate speed Fraser water these prise'd possessions would accept an offering resembling a Christmas ornament, but in there home gin clear waters would shy to line weight half there body mass......

because in the murky water they feel safe, in clear water they feel exposed.

Maybe because in murky water the "Christmas tree" lure colorations show up well......but because it is murky water they don't see the line and other things......

they make a fast decision to strike, oblivious to some other factors.


However in slow gin-clear water they see a lot more.......and at that point the the coloration of the lure may be too intense for the water clarity. Plus they can see the line and hardware .
