A mention in another post got me to thinking.
Gibbs makes 2 copies of the popular Coyote spoon one called the Gypsy and another line called the Gator.
While I find the Gypsy to be a great producer the Gator looks much the same but has a different action-kind of a snaky twist that doesn't always appeal to Salmon.
Read the label carefully.

That confirms my personal experience with hoes this year Dogbreath.

Bought a few of the larger cop car Gypsy's because the finish looked so good. However fished alongside the coyote or my favorite, the Roadrunner, the Gypsy only attracted about 10% of the strikes the others did.

I agree there is something subtle about the Gypsy action that is not very fishy.
