A little more ammo towards the argument that increased food source = increased production and size of marine species.

I think everyone (except whole in the water who wondered in the renfrew reports if all the fish went inside again????) can agree that fishing has been fantastic in the south island and it sounds like the whales are benefiting from awesome returns as well.

More salmon = bigger and healthier whales. But lets not start there...

More Herring = Bigger and Healthier Salmon = Bigger and Healthier whales

Ouch man! you nailed me and my lame excuse for not getting any fish over 30 in Renny this summer - LOL

I agree with you in the long term, but right now we need more local Chinook salmon on a consistent, annual basis for the SRKW.
