sooke boat launch

I havn't fished sooke since last summer. Is the boat launch still free? and if not whats the fee? Any info appreciated......

10 bucks. if its not low tide, go to Jocks instead, then you can actually clean your fish and use the bathroom near the launch. The hotel hates it when you clean salmon intheir bathroom where the running water is. lol

I used the ramp a couple weeks ago and they still had nothing in place to collect a fee.

there is a little mailbox attached to the wall on the boat ramp end of the cul-de-sac with a sign with font too small to read from my truck. I didn't have my reading glasses, so I assumed it was nothing important. If it was ramp fee signage that was included in the million bucks to build it, I assumed it would come with a fish cleaning station and a larger sign.
