I took the tarp off my boat yesterday and was horrified to see that my canopy frame was squashed and bent so badly that the rear of the canopy was completely destroyed. I had to cut the 7/8 inch alluninum tubes off and replace them using joiners. All the parts were available at the local marine dealers thankfully. It happened because of the weight of the heavy snow which we had a few weeks ago. I never gave the boat a thought at the time. Next year I will completely remove the canopy during the winter months. Anyone else had a similar problem?
