Got a question for you guys.how do you fish your bucktails? Surface?with a fly rod? Ect

Right on top. Long line in the waves. Need a small chop for them to be really effective.

Yes and make sure the back tail is tracking straight at your desired speed. Spinning buck tail is not very good. The front hook is a rudder they can be adjusted to have the fly swimming correct.

Try a #37 Lyman for rainbows, and a glow in the dark Lyman, white with black stripes on the top trolled deep, the clown plug in the picture in BC Outdoors works real well too, a Watermellon apex worked pretty good last time I was there trolled at 60ft caught a couple pretty nice rainbows,

Have likely caught 100s of rainbows in Okanagan Lake on Lyman Lures over the last 20yrs, I spend a lot of time adjusting the action on them before putting them out
