Yes and make sure the back tail is tracking straight at your desired speed. Spinning buck tail is not very good. The front hook is a rudder they can be adjusted to have the fly swimming correct.
 
Try a #37 Lyman for rainbows, and a glow in the dark Lyman, white with black stripes on the top trolled deep, the clown plug in the picture in BC Outdoors works real well too, a Watermellon apex worked pretty good last time I was there trolled at 60ft caught a couple pretty nice rainbows,

Have likely caught 100s of rainbows in Okanagan Lake on Lyman Lures over the last 20yrs, I spend a lot of time adjusting the action on them before putting them out
