Shimano Moocher Plus 4000 GT mounted on Trophy XL 10'6"

For sale as a pair, 2 Trophy XL rods with Shimano Moocher Plus 4000 GT reels spooled with 25 lb Berkley high vis. One rod is missing rubber butt end, otherwise in good condition. Sold as a pair, $ 175. Located in Victoria but can arrange to bring to Vancouver.

Well gosh. Nice setups for a guy like me wanting to enter the world of single action reels.


If you ever find yourself taking the Coho ferry to Port Angeles bring the rods/reels with you and I will buy.

I love the single action reels in use for mooching and for downriggers. Seems more elegant than our Yank overdragged multipliers.

And I like the Peetz. Just found one in an antique shop, bought it for use as a Halibut reel. This one should bust my knuckles!
